The previous oven still worked, but would beep repeatedly (and loudly!) at various times during the day. We'd trek to the basement to turn off the circuit breaker and then have to go back downstairs to turn on the breaker when we needed to use the oven. It was time to buy a new one...I researched wall ovens on the internet and found that most are small, really small. Since we often cook a 25 lb. turkey in our oven, we needed something much larger than what is usually offered. This LG oven did the trick and is huge inside. Look for a good price on this oven. When we purchased the oven the price was around $1700., but LG was offering a $700 rebate if we also bought a new microwave - which we needed, anyway. The $700 rebate helped lower the price considerably, so keep your eye out for LG special offers. Plus, we received our rebate check from LG in two weeks, which is pretty... Read more |
